Moderated by Carson Rhys Beckwith, Program Director at Project HEAL, our exceptional speakers Jesse Hayman, Chief Growth Officer of Greenspace, and Dr. Wendy Oliver Pyatt, Co-founder, CEO and Chief Medical Officer of Within Health and the CEO and Co-founder of Galen Hope will explore how MBC is transforming eating disorder treatment.
Ahead of our upcoming session on March 13th, we wanted to familiarize you with our panelists and highlight some of the meaningful work they’re doing to drive high-quality eating disorder treatment. Meet Carson Rhys Beckwith
Program Director, Project HEAL
Carson is a dedicated advocate for equity and social change, with over nine years of experience addressing health disparities in queer communities, reproductive justice, and organizational development. They are currently the Program Director at Project HEAL, where they lead a number of direct service, community care, and capacity building programs to break down barriers to eating disorder healing. They hold a BA in International Studies from American University and an MSW from Washington University, specializing in sexual health and violence prevention.

Founded in 2008, Project HEAL is a national eating disorder nonprofit focused on creating equitable access to care. With a mission to break down systemic, healthcare, and financial barriers to eating disorder healing, their goal is to provide life-saving support to people with eating disorders who the system fails. Through advocacy, research, cash assistance grants, free treatment placements, insurance navigation support, and now clinical assessment, Project HEAL helps low-income, underinsured, and often marginalized individuals access life-saving treatment for free.
Meet Dr. Wendy Oliver Pyatt

CEO & Co-founder of Galen Hope
Wendy Oliver Pyatt, MD, FAED, CEDS is presently the Co-founder, CEO and Chief Medical Officer of Within Health and the CEO and Cofounder of Galen Hope. She is a board- certified psychiatrist and world-leading expert on treating eating disorders and has more than 25 years of clinical experience. She has developed five separate treatment programs all grounded in a strong bio-psycho-social foundation and incorporating intensive psychotherapy with behavioral foundations and high medical standards.
Dr. Oliver Pyatt, is known for her innovative, humane, and dignity enhancing approach to medically and psychiatrically thorough care. She has developed a unique treatment approach that delves into the underlying issues that place a person at risk for mental health conditions and eating disorders and lead to healing, health, and inner peace.
Dr. Oliver Pyatt received her specialty training at New York University – Bellevue Hospital and has held faculty positions at New York University, Albert Einstein School of Medicine, and University of Nevada School of Medicine where she first developed her passion as a mentor and educator. She is a Fellow of the Academy for Eating Disorders, the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, and the American Psychiatric Association. She has served on the Joint Commission’s Advisory Committee and has received U.S. Senatorial Recognition for her commitment to the mental health treatment community.

Meet Jesse Hayman
Chief Growth Officer, Greenspace Health
Driven from personal and family mental health experiences, Jesse Hayman has committed his career to improving culture, education and support services surrounding mental health. Prior to Greenspace, Jesse served as the Vice President at Jack.org; guiding them through unprecedented growth. He founded and led the development of Be There which was awarded two Webby Awards as the Top Health Website in the World. Jesse also spent seven years leading Development at the Movember Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors at Sheena’s Place, a centre for eating disorder group therapy.
