Welcoming New Partners to Greenspace: May & June 2024

We’re thrilled to share a new group of recent additions to our community of Measurement-Based Care (MBC) partner clinics and organizations. Each are making a significant impact in the lives of individuals, families, and communities through their dedication to high-quality and evidence-based mental health services. Keep reading to learn about their impactful work, the range of populations they serve, and the various programs they offer. We’re grateful to each organization for trusting Greenspace to help drive their measurement, quality assurance, and clinical goals forward.

Spectrum of Hope: Health, Wellness and Community Services

Location: Maryland, USA

Spectrum of Hope serves children and youth with Autism and related developmental differences. They provide a wide range of crucial services including medical consultation, caregiver support, and community education and consulting.

Florida Palms Academy

Location: Florida, USA

Based in Hollywood, Florida, the Florida Palms Academy is an inpatient, psychiatric treatment program for students from ages 6-14 years old. Their program is designed to meet both the clinical and educational needs of students in a safe and secure environment.

OhioGuidestone

Location: Ohio, USA

Established in 1864, OhioGuidestone is Ohio’s leader in mental and behavioural health care, serving 26,000 individuals annually. They provide a continuum of services for mental health, substance use, family care, foster care, vocational support, youth justice, and more.

BC Children’s Hospital

Location: British Columbia, Canada

BC Children’s Hospital provides expert health care, including mental health care, to children across British Columbia. They are a leader in specialized paediatric services, as well as a teaching and research facility for child health.

Kiizhik Education Corporation

Location: Ontario, Canada

Established in 2015, Kiizhik Education Corporation opened their doors with the goal of preserving the Anishinaabe culture through learning. Their educational programming is focused on enhancing career opportunities, fostering personal growth, and meeting the cultural, traditional, and unique learning needs of their community.

Bowie Youth & Family Services

Location: Maryland, USA

Established in 1971, Bowie Youth & Family Services (BYFS) provides counseling services to youth and families in crisis. In addition to therapy, BYFS also offers educational and therapeutic groups, community outreach services, and other school-based services.

Galen Hope

Location: Florida, USA

Galen Hope offers comprehensive treatment for eating disorders, as well as a wide range of complex mental health conditions. They provide holistic support, with a focus on comprehensive assessment, community integration, and the inclusion of family therapy, coaching, and education.

Caroline County Health Department

Location: Maryland, USA

The Caroline County Health Department is the local division of the Maryland Department of Health. They provide a range of public health services, including infectious disease monitoring and response, behavioral health services, chronic disease prevention, and services to support people with disabilities and the elderly.

HYPE Counseling Services

Location: Virginia, USA

HYPE Counseling Services was established in 2017, with the intention to enhance care options for youth needing intensive mental health support. HYPE has now expanded their programming to support adult mental health and provide crisis stabilization, addictions, and recovery services.

Guzman Psychotherapy

Location: Georgia, USA

Guzman Psychotherapy has been offering high-quality psychotherapy and immigration psychological evaluations since 2017. Their team strives to support newcomers through difficult life challenges, such as the arrival and settlement into a new country.

Take a Hike Foundation

Location: British Columbia, Canada

Take a Hike partners with public school districts to engage vulnerable youth in a full-time mental health and emotional well-being program that takes place in an alternate education classroom. Take a Hike combines clinical counselling, land-based learning, and community; empowering youth to build healthy relationships and achieve success.

Chesapeake Health Care

Location: Maryland, USA

Serving over 55,000 patients, Chesapeake Health Care provides affordable and culturally competent health care to meet the needs of Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties in Maryland. Their services include care for seasonal/migrant farm workers, mental health, pharmacy, obstetrics and gynecology, urogynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, dental, and pediatrics.

Compassion Behavioral Health

Location: Florida, USA

Based in South Florida, Compassion Behavioral Health is a highly rated mental health and substance abuse treatment Center. The facility provides individualized treatment, offering various levels of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and virtual programs.

Landing Strong

Location: Nova Scotia, Canada

Located in scenic Nova Scotia, Landing Strong is a non-profit organization specialized in supporting veterans and first responders. They offer various group programs, providing an opportunity to connect with others with similar lived experiences, and move forward in recovery.

Center for Children

Location: Maryland, USA

The Center for Children is a non-profit outpatient mental health clinic based in Maryland, serving more than 4,500 people each year. Their focus is prevention and treatment of child abuse and promotion of positive mental health.

Sunshine Coast Health Centre

Location: British Columbia, Canada

Sunshine Coast specializes in supporting men to explore and manage issues with alcohol and drug use. Their unique program focuses on addressing the underlying issues that drive addiction and mental health concerns.

James Bay Lowlands Secondary School Board

Location: Ontario, Canada

Based in Northern Ontario, James Bay Lowlands Secondary School Board offers students a safe and positive environment to learn. They are committed to uplifting student cultures and Aboriginal heritage, and promoting the development of life skills and life-long learning.

Within Health

Location: Virtual, USA

Within Health was developed by Dr. Wendy Oliver-Pyatt and Abhilash Patel, both of whom are survivors of an eating disorder. By providing innovative virtual treatment for eating disorders, they aim to reach anyone, anywhere, who is in need of treatment, free from shame and stigma.
