Automatic Client Creation

Clients are automatically created in Greenspace based on your team’s ideal workflow, and remain updated between Greenspace and the EHR. This allows client setup to occur without any manual steps for a clinician or admin. Data fields mapped might include: email, phone number, program, provider, kiosk code, ‘tags’, etc.

Flexible Delivery Schedule

Assign and Deliver Assessments Seamlessly

You can automatically assign assessment packages, the schedule for each assessment (e.g. every 2 weeks), and the associated delivery method (such as Email, SMS, Kiosk) to clients via the integration. This can be based on existing EHR data fields, such as program, diagnosis, evidence-based practice, etc.

Enhanced Analytics Data

Additional patient information can be shared between the EHR and Greenspace. This might include demographics or SDOH information. Teams can leverage this information to strengthen their outcome data, insights, and reporting.

Review Assessment Results in Credible or CareLogic

A visualization of each client’s assessment results will be sent back to the EHR, along with any insights or risk flags. This will maintain Credible or CareLogic as the single client record and ensure that this information is immediately accessible to the whole care team.

Contextual Launch and SSO

Users can easily open Greenspace with one-click from the Credible or CareLogic (on the client chart). This enables simple and rapid access to expanded functionality within Greenspace (interactive results display, adjusting assessment schedules, or manually sending a tool).

Can you provide more information about Measurement-Based Care?

There are many examples of Measurement-Based Care in physical health care, where symptoms are monitored and data is gathered throughout treatment. We do so when treating diabetes, where patients with type 1 have the ability to self-monitor their glucose ad hemoglobin levels at home, with blood sugar meters that will indicate whether or not their numbers are within a safe range. This data can then be used to inform their nutrition, insulin distribution, and conversations with their practitioner— ensuring they can maintain good health and that nothing gets missed.

When it comes to mental healthcare, data hasn’t historically been used in the same way. But, the tides are shifting as providers implement Measurement-Based Care into practice, due to a clear focus in behavioral healthcare on transparency of outcomes, quality improvement, and value-based care discussions. As an example of Measurement-Based Care in practice within a mental health setting, our partners Merakey are using MBC to get the information they need to understand their clients’ experience and identify areas for improvement across their programs. In doing so, they are able to provide tailored, high-quality care to more than 50,000 individuals and families across the U.S. each year.

Is this MBC module and integration a fit for my organization?

First, it’s important to identify what the current state is for your team. Are clinicians and clients completing assessment tools? What is the consistency and frequency? What is the feedback of clinicians on the current process (e.g. is it clinically meaningful / what is the effort level)? What quality of data does your organization have to provide visibility into care and outcomes (as opposed to outputs)?

Second, how do your strategic priorities and goals align with investing in MBC. Typically organizations are looking to accomplish one of the following:

  1. Improve care outcomes;
  2. Increase client engagement (reduce dropout, no-shows, cancellations);
  3. Have greater clarity into quality of care across programs;
  4. Improve health equity; or
  5. Prepare for value-based care / reimbursement.

Third, you can determine what the right solution is for your organization. Integration is not a requirement for a successful implementation of MBC – however it can enable significant automation, increase consistency of measurement, and reduce administrative burden.

What is the timeline to implement this solution?

The target implementation timeline will be 3 months—including of planning, workflow design, technical configuration, training and go-live. This will vary by organization and is dependent on several factors, such as scale, complexity of the workflow design, and the training and implementation plan.

Can we add custom measures or assessments?

Yes. Any assessments that are not currently available on the platform can be added. Greenspace has an existing database of up to 350 evidence-based assessments that can be leveraged.

Our team has been using both Greenspace and Welligent separately. Is it possible to bulk upload client records?

Yes, this can be supported. The details will be determined as part of workflow planning.

My organization is large with many different clinics and programs. Can this level of complexity be supported?

Yes. The Greenspace platform has been built to support enterprise and complex organizations. It has been developed with flexibility as a core consideration, to ensure that each organization’s MBC solution is built specifically with their workflow in mind. Organizations are able to configure multiple clinic/program accounts, allowing for clinic/program specific workflows, reporting, and insights. This structure has enabled behavioral health and substance use organizations of any size manage their own progress measurement initiatives in a format that is best suited to their processes and team.

Where would I review and report on clinical outcomes?

This will be tailored to each organization.

The integrated Greenspace solution will provide a powerful analytics dashboard that organizations can leverage to visualize and report on program outcomes. These analytics can be enhanced with data elements from the Welligent EHR (such as demographics and SDOH information).

Welligent will continue to be your central and comprehensive reporting engine for your EHR data, including: revenue, billing, reimbursement, staff workflow, efficiencies, and more.

In addition, some teams will leverage a data warehouse and BI tools. Both Welligent and Greenspace can support an integration of data to an external data warehouse.

What privacy and security standards are maintained in providing this integrated solution?

Security of patient information and privacy is the foundation of the Greenspace platform. We take this responsibility very seriously and have implemented significant measures to safeguard patients’ personal health information that exceed industry standards and best practices. Greenspace is SOC 2 Type II compliant and conforms to digital and physical security protocols (including HIPAA), with SSL-secured access, AES encryption at the filesystem level, and firewalls protecting all data. We take many additional precautions to protect privacy including: requiring strong passwords, automatic logouts, automatic access logging, secured data backups, two factor authentication and restrictive data access procedures. Where is patient information and data stored?

All patient information and data is stored in the United States. Greenspace works with a secure cloud hosting provider called Aptible, which is specifically designed to securely manage and store confidential and highly sensitive healthcare information. Aptible has been tested and certified by security professionals from Kaiser Permanente, MD Anderson, UnitedHealth Group, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, and many others. In addition, Aptible is certified for compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HITRUST CSF.
